Abstract Commissions
If you see a painting on my site and it is already sold, or you would like a different size, I can create something just for you. It will be similar, but not an exact copy; it will be an original guided by input from you from progress shots, because it is a collaborative process. How it Works
Commissions usually take 6 to 10 weeks from the time we sign the contract, depending upon your vision, with a potentially longer time frame for works larger than 60" x 48".
We spend a good amount of time up front talking about your style and color preferences, which paintings of mine resonate for you, and I learn about what brings you joy all towards the goal of creating a work of art that will make a statement that expresses who you are. I love to see the space the painting will occupy in person if possible, but otherwise we'll review pictures or even better, we can set up a video call.
Once we agree upon commission size, details and pricing, I create an initial color palette for your approval.
We touch base about half way through the process; I will send several "in progress" photographs before the artwork in finalized. The painting will only be finalized when you are happy and any requested changes are completed.
A 50% deposit is required to get started on your painting, with the remaining 50% plus tax (and shipping if required) due upon completion/delivery of the artwork.

If a painting is needed by a specific date for an event or milestone, please contact me as early as possible to be sure we it can be completed in time.
